Here is a pic of the tin.

I got a new pop up tent for it also. So next month I can start repairing the top. +:)

I'm jealous! That tin is sweet! The firberglass kit I have look a lot like it though.

Thanks, I've seen a few pics of those fiberglass ones. They look wicked when they are painted to match the body color. I got a little time to work on the dash today, started stripping off the bad paint job someone did. Hope to get it back in tomorrow.

I've been on vacation and since my daughter is working part time this summer and not under foot (not that I mind her following me around).
I've had a chance to work on the bay. Late last week I traced the main wiring out. Corrected some of the P.O.'s field rigging. Cleaned the fuel tank out and got it back in yesterday afternoon, I ran stainless line from the tank to inside the engine bay. Checked for leaks this morning. Tomorrow I'll switch the gen stand for a alt, bolt that and the doghouse back on and stick the eingine in.

Hopefully before this weekend is over. I didn't get the engine in until this morning. My neighbor came over yesterday and I got sidetracked on farm stuff. Ran out of daylight before I could do it.

Tomorrow I'm going to get fuel, vacuum line for the brake booster and a ground cable for the battery. Just have to hook up power & fuel to the motor.
The motor is one I kept from a bug I got rid of, it's got about 20k on it. Should do til I finish the new one. The bus is a while away from the street. But it will nice to have it running at last.

Note to self: Put battery on charger tonight!

I could do that.
Didn't get as much done as I wanted to Friday, wife went me to the dub shop which is a 150 mile round trip. So it ended up being a day out for us.
May not get it going this wekend after all. I don't like the looks of the positive battery cable, going to replace it. Plus this is my daughters playday this weekend. Saturday night, since it's so hot they have them late in the day so we don't get home until 3 am. So Sunday I'll be sleeping on the couch during nascar.

What a week!!!

Between being messed up from the dust at the playday and first week back at work, I got nothing done on the bus.

But I did get out and work on it this afternoon, after the temp got back down to 100 *. Did an "unofficial" starting of the motor. So no video yet, wanted to test the wiring and starter.
Got to clean the carb up, been sitting for a year so... Got to drop the motor back out and shorten the input shaft some more also.
